Intersec is the leading international trade fair of the portfolio and has been held annually in Dubai since 1999. The Intersec family of events also includes Intersec Buenos Aires, and most recently Intersec Saudi Arabia. The first edition of the trade fair for Safety, Security & Fire Protection took place from 2 to 4 May 2017 in Jeddah.

In Russia Messe Frankfurt is cooperating with a local partner in organising the TB Forum powered by Intersec and has assumed responsibility for the international sales of the trade fair. In East Africa, Messe Frankfurt partners with a local fair organiser to hold SecProtec East Africa powered by Intersec in Nairobi.
In Asia, Messe Frankfurt organises four trade fairs in Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam under the Secutech brand.
For the German market, Mesago Messe Frankfurt holds the Innosecure in Düsseldorf.
