The 10th edition of Secutech Vietnam is scheduled to take place at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center, Ho Chi Minh City, from 16 – 18 August 2017. Over the past 10 editions, the show has established itself as one of the top sourcing platforms for security and fire and safety solutions in Vietnam. In response to the growing demand for cross-sector collaborations in tackling security challenges, this year’s edition in particular explores the likes of intelligent security solutions, smart homes and buildings, and energy saving opportunities.
Featuring over 270 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions, the total number of exhibitors this year has increased by 10%. Bosch, Dahua, Draeger, EN03, Funayama, Hanwha Techwin, Hikvision, Honeywell, KB Vision, NAFFCO, Nhat Nam, Nittan, Panasonic, Rapidrop, Seagate, Silversea, Synology and numerous other leading firms will present their latest products across 9,000 sqm of exhibition space. Around 8,000 system integrators, installers, distributors, mechanical and electrical constructors and other industry peers from across the globe are expected to visit the fair.
In terms of the country’s security market developments, Ms Regina Tsai, Deputy General Manager of Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media, says she is glad to see the fair’s expansion because of the growing market. She explained: “In Vietnam, increased security concerns in banking, retail and commercial offices and other service industries promote cross-sector collaboration. As a result of rapid economic growth, urbanisation has raised awareness for public and personal safety.”
Indoor and outdoor concurrent events highlight show’s diversity
To help trade buyers and security, fire and safety solution providers tap into the ever-changing security market, Secutech Vietnam places great emphasis on its fringe programme. The 2017 show includes both indoor and outdoor concurrent events. The Global Digital Security & Solutions Forum, for example, will focus on smart applications and solutions in banking, commercial vehicles, city surveillance, factory, retail, and transportation. Speakers from Bosch, Seagate, GIGA, WD and various others will present their project implementations in building smart cities in Vietnam.
Away from discussions on security, fire and safety problems are also set to be explored during the fair’s fringe programme. The Asia Fire Protection Inspection Council General Meeting will see top management and specialists from governments and related organisations from 10 member countries discuss the latest market needs. Meanwhile, the Fire & Safety Seminar will give insight into new technologies, up-to-date market trends and business opportunities. Outside the fair halls is another key highlight, with the Outdoor Demo. Leading manufacturers such as Everdigm, EN03 and VT Plus will present their cutting edge fire equipment and fire trucks in an open space.
Secutech Vietnam is supported by the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Industry & Trade, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Planning & Investment, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Science & Technology and the Ministry of Transport.
