Following the deferral of the 2021 edition due to the pandemic, the fair will make its homecoming from 18 – 20 August 2022 at the Saigon Convention and Exhibition Centre in Ho Chi Minh City. Having achieved consistent year-on-year growth in scale prior to the pandemic, expectations for a return to normality at Secutech Vietnam are naturally high. Fairgoers can expect to find opportunities across all major product sectors in the security industry, as well as focused networking and brand building occasions at concurrent events for smart building and fire safety.
Secutech Vietnam to be moved to a later date
Instead of its originally scheduled late-September timeslot, Secutech Vietnam will now take place at a future date. The postponement is due to recurring outbreaks of Covid-19 across Vietnam, as well as travel restrictions and periodic lockdowns. The rearranged fair will take place at the Friendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi, with the new dates to be announced in due course.
Secutech Vietnam to be rescheduled to October 2021
To provide more time for the public health situation in Vietnam to improve, and for the local government’s vaccination initiative to take effect, Secutech Vietnam, the country’s most influential trade fair for the security and fire safety industries, has been rescheduled to 29 September – 2 October 2021. Originally scheduled to take place in August, the 2021 fair will be held at the Friendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi for the first time since 2016 to connect exhibitors with more distributors, system integrators and trade buyers from the north of the country.
Moving to Hanoi – Secutech Vietnam returns in August 2021
To coincide with the Vietnam Fire Department’s 60th anniversary celebrations, Secutech Vietnam is relocating to the Friendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi for its 2021 edition. The move away from its traditional location in Ho Chi Minh City will help the fair’s security and fire safety exhibitors develop their business in Northern Vietnam by connecting them with more distributors and system integrators from the region. The fair is scheduled to take place from 25 – 28 August 2021, with an expected 400 exhibitors in attendance.
