Secutech Vietnam 2024 attains new milestone with highest-ever visitor and exhibitor turnout

Ho Chi Minh City, 26 August 2024. Secutech Vietnam 2024 solidified its position as the country’s must-attend platform for the security and fire safety industries, showcasing the latest innovations and amplifying a wealth of business growth opportunities. With both visitor and exhibitor participation reaching new heights, the fair welcomed 15,569 global visitors who connected with 460 exhibitors from 19 countries and regions. Held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), the fair concluded on 16 August, and highlighted a diverse product portfolio ranging from AI-powered systems to novel fire protection equipment, demonstrating to fairgoers the possibilities of a technologically advanced future.

Secutech Vietnam 2024 opens today, driving innovations in the security and fire safety industries

Ho Chi Minh City, 14 August 2024. Secutech Vietnam, the largest and most prominent security and fire safety trade fair in the country, commences today at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC). The three-day fair, running 14 – 16 August 2024 spans 12,000 sqm and is expected to welcome 13,000 global visitors. The 2024 edition features its highest number of exhibitors yet – 460 from 19 countries and regions, showcasing the latest AI-powered surveillance tools, smart building automation, and fire protection solutions. The show includes country pavilions from Japan, Korea, and Singapore, alongside the concurrent events Fire & Safety and SMABuilding, providing fairgoers with significant opportunities for cross-sector collaboration.

New exhibitor records as Secutech Vietnam 2024 further elevates country’s urban safety and security

Ho Chi Minh City, 18 July 2024. At this morning’s press conference, the organisers of Secutech Vietnam announced the upcoming fair will host a record number of fire safety and security exhibitors across 12,000 sqm at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC) from 14 – 16 August 2024. Seen by many industry players as the ideal platform to seize new business opportunities, this year’s fair will welcome 400 exhibitors (up 11%) from 17 countries and regions. Country pavilions from Japan and Singapore will also feature various innovations that capture buyers’ attention, while the high-traffic Korea Pavilion is set to expand this year. An expected 13,000 visitors will source at the platform, featuring buyer delegations from across Asia, including Cambodia, China, India, Malaysia and Thailand. Vietnam’s largest security and fire safety trade show is supported by the government, and will foster connections between various systems integrators, installers, distributors, end users, and Vietnamese government officials.

Secutech Vietnam to relocate to Hanoi during earlier July 2023 timeslot

Secutech Vietnam is taking the opportunity to attract more fire safety and security industry players from the north of the country by moving to the Friendship Cultural Palace in the capital city, Hanoi for its 2023 edition. Benefiting from strong official links with local authorities, the upcoming fair will cooperate with the Vietnam Fire Department and the Ministry of Public Security to celebrate the 61st Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People’s Police Force during the three-day fair. Originally scheduled to take place in mid-August, the fair will now be held from 19 – 21 July 2023.

Secutech Vietnam secures new dates in August 2022

Security industry professionals can now start marking their calendars for the return of Secutech Vietnam. Following the deferral of the 2021 edition due to the pandemic, the fair will make its homecoming from 18 – 20 August 2022 at the Saigon Convention and Exhibition Centre in Ho Chi Minh City. Having achieved consistent year-on-year growth in scale prior to the pandemic, expectations for a return to normality at Secutech Vietnam are naturally high. Fairgoers can expect to find opportunities across all major product sectors in the security industry, as well as focused networking and brand building occasions at concurrent events for smart building and fire safety.

Secutech Vietnam to be moved to a later date

Instead of its originally scheduled late-September timeslot, Secutech Vietnam will now take place at a future date. The postponement is due to recurring outbreaks of Covid-19 across Vietnam, as well as travel restrictions and periodic lockdowns. The rearranged fair will take place at the Friendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi, with the new dates to be announced in due course.

Secutech Vietnam to be rescheduled to October 2021

To provide more time for the public health situation in Vietnam to improve, and for the local government’s vaccination initiative to take effect, Secutech Vietnam, the country’s most influential trade fair for the security and fire safety industries, has been rescheduled to 29 September – 2 October 2021. Originally scheduled to take place in August, the 2021 fair will be held at the Friendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi for the first time since 2016 to connect exhibitors with more distributors, system integrators and trade buyers from the north of the country.

Moving to Hanoi – Secutech Vietnam returns in August 2021

To coincide with the Vietnam Fire Department’s 60th anniversary celebrations, Secutech Vietnam is relocating to the Friendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi for its 2021 edition. The move away from its traditional location in Ho Chi Minh City will help the fair’s security and fire safety exhibitors develop their business in Northern Vietnam by connecting them with more distributors and system integrators from the region. The fair is scheduled to take place from 25 – 28 August 2021, with an expected 400 exhibitors in attendance.

Messe Frankfurt defers two of its trade fairs in Vietnam: Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City and Secutech Vietnam

As a result of flight restrictions impeding business travel to Vietnam, Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd has announced the postponement of two of its trade fairs in the country. With a respective focus on automotive services and the safety and security industry, Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City and Secutech Vietnam, originally scheduled to take place concurrently at the Saigon Convention and Exhibition Centre this summer from 20 – 22 August, will be rescheduled to 2021.
