Secutech Vietnam 2024 opens today, driving innovations in the security and fire safety industries

Ho Chi Minh City, 14 August 2024. Secutech Vietnam, the largest and most prominent security and fire safety trade fair in the country, commences today at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC). The three-day fair, running 14 – 16 August 2024 spans 12,000 sqm and is expected to welcome 13,000 global visitors. The 2024 edition features its highest number of exhibitors yet – 460 from 19 countries and regions, showcasing the latest AI-powered surveillance tools, smart building automation, and fire protection solutions. The show includes country pavilions from Japan, Korea, and Singapore, alongside the concurrent events Fire & Safety and SMABuilding, providing fairgoers with significant opportunities for cross-sector collaboration.

The fair’s comprehensive showcase of the newest innovations enables attendees to stay ahead of the developments in the ever-evolving landscape. The event is supported by both the Vietnam Fire and Rescue Police Department and the Minister of Public Security, underscoring the government’s commitment to promoting multinational collaboration, knowledge sharing, and technology exchange in these crucial sectors. It attracted prominent buyer delegations, including security professionals from APSA organisations in Cambodia, China, India, Korea and Thailand, as well as fire and rescue personnel from Japan, Korea, Laos and Singapore, all seeking to explore the latest innovations and technologies on display.

Fringe programme offers diverse perspectives and insights for safety and security
Complementing the extensive product showcase, the fringe programme will delve into key industry topics. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of emerging market trends and industry developments, with key events including:

Smart Industrial Solution Conference:
leading industry speakers from Chuyen Viet, Ho Chi Minh City Automation Association, Honeywell Vietnam, Houselink, i-Soft, Industrial Park, Long Hau Industrial Park, and Synology will explore the potential of AI technology for factory applications.

Innovation Stage:
a dedicated area for exhibitors to showcase their latest products, technologies, and technical capabilities. Visiting industry professionals will be able to explore the latest security and safety solutions, and network with the participants. The platform will highlight innovations across the following three distinct topics:

A diverse array of cutting-edge personal protective equipment and safety devices will be featured, along with live demonstrations to illustrate their proper usage in safeguarding workers of high-risk industries.
